The search service can find package by either name (apache), provides(webserver), absolute file names (/usr/bin/apache), binaries (gprof) or shared libraries (libXm.so.2) in standard path. It does not support multiple arguments yet...
The System and Arch are optional added filters, for example System could be "redhat", "redhat-7.2", "mandrake" or "gnome", Arch could be "i386" or "src", etc. depending on your system.
Pydar2 is a distributed build system for rpm packages. It allows you to build spec files from multiple spec repositories (spec files in svn, cvs, ..) for multiple distribution/architectures on multiple computers with one central queue. It's possible to automatically queue new builds and you can alter most of the behaviour with scripts. Pydar2 is not yet finished. It can be used but it's far from userfriendly. The slave-buildserver uses sudo and the network communication between the programs is not encrypted, so i suggest you only use it on a private network with only users which you trust.
