StarCalendar is a perfect calendar program writen in Python and using PyGTK, that supports Jalai(Iranian) and Hijri(Islamic) calendars, and of cource the common english calendar(Gregorian). It is based on "Jalali Canendar Applet" for Gnome(that is writen by Mola Pahnadayan), but with too many enhancements and new features. Additional to that it can be used in any window manager(such as Gnome, KDE, Xfce, LXDE,...), because it's not a Gnome applet anymore, but a windowed program that adds to the System Tray (Notification Area). It is some customized for persian(farsi) language now, but will be more international in the future. Please report bugs or proposal to author's mail(saeed.gnu AT gmail DOT com).
